This year, Providence Baptist Church was chosen to be the recipient of the donated presents. Providence Baptist Church is located in Bushnell, FL. They have a large outreach program that ministers to many different towns and people. One of the programs they have is the "Bus Ministry". Every Sunday there are at least 3 buses that go out into the community and pick up people who otherwise would not have transportation to church. Many of the people that are picked up are children, many of whom, are less fortunate. For many of the children, the highlight of their week is coming to church and finding the love and support that they do not have anywhere else.
On Sunday, December 13th, Dr. John was able to join some of the Legacy Staff at Providence Baptist Church and help distribute the presents and ride on one of the buses. It was a wonderful time! All the children were thrilled and so thankful for the presents, many of them coudln't thank us enough.
